Oooooo apparently MTG Arena Tool lets you share your drafts now! That's very neat!

people were talking about the millennium bug recently, well it turns out a lot of the fixes just delayed the problem to 2020

"Programmers wanting to avoid the Y2K bug had two broad options: entirely rewrite their code, or adopt a quick fix called “windowing”, which would treat all dates from 00 to 20, as from the 2000s, rather than the 1900s. An estimated 80 per cent of computers fixed in 1999 used the quicker, cheaper option."

"Those systems that used the quick fix have now reached the end of that window, and have rolled back to 1920. Utility company bills have reportedly been produced with the erroneous date 1920, while tens of thousands of parking meters in New York City have declined credit card transactions because of the date glitch."

My new years resolution is kinda silly, but what I want to do is run a tabletop rpg adventure module. Get some social interaction while exercising my imagination muscles - two things that have really suffered since getting out of school.

More star citizen adventures

Switched to a new ship with a proper cargo hold and have still been trying to deliver parcels. So far I've:
- Arrived at destination but got my parcel stuck in the ship and couldn't get it out
- Arrived but got myself stuck in the ship and couldn't get out
- Crashed into the remains of a ship after falling out of warp speed

Three hours, zero successful deliveries! 😃

Today I did my first delivery mission in Star Citizen!

Had to go pick up the parcel from a kiosk and take it to a planet about 30Gm away. Easy! Except parcels can't be put in the cargo hold, so I decided to physics puzzle it into a spot behind the pilot seat.

I get to the destination no problem, but now there's no way to get close enough to the parcel to get it back out! Luckily, I was able to spawn a golf cart and jump on top of it to reach in and finally get it out.

Most recent star citizen patch has the controls feeling much more responsive! The sluggishness of movement has always been one of my biggest complaints in the past, but that has either improved or I've gotten used to it.

Excuse me but "Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg won’t talk to the Guardian. So we fed everything he says into an algorithm, built a Zuckerbot, and interviewed it" has got to be the best take.

Played forza horizon battle royale for a bit and it's a fun and silly take on the genre.

MTG Spoilers, grumpypost

I'm getting really aggravated by this. Brawl exclusives, theme booster exclusives, holiday pack exclusives... sigh.

I'm just a bit bummed out that we won't be getting the ID.3 in the US. It's a reasonably nice looking car (for a hatchback).

I'm blown away by the form factor of individual units of lithium ion batteries used in cars. They are so thin! Each of the housings on the table contain four of the "pouches" he's holding in his hand.

Friendslists in games never really clicked with me. Why would I want to interrupt my bud who's doing achievables or story mode saying like "hey wanna play some unranked 1v1 with me bud?"

MTG Theros spoiler season starting! Spoilers!

Oh neato, guaranteed Pokemon-land in each pack! Very exciting!

I went to get beaten at tonight! This new set dials up the complexity a lot, but I clearly need to get better at my decision making in this game.

I found out the Forza series has a loyalty rewards program where you get stuff in the new games by having enough achievements in the old ones. I've been aggressively powering through Motorsport 7 this weekend!

You MUST play AI Dungeon 2, a text adventure game run by a neural net.

@nickwalton00 built it using @OpenAI's huge GPT-2-1.5B model, and it will respond reasonably to just about anything you try. Such as eating the moon.

What if we put Luigi's head on top of Sailor Moon's body!

It'd look something... like this!
